David Graham

Lead Pastor

David is our Lead Pastor and leads our main expression of church on a Sunday morning each week. David has been a church leader for over 30 years and has been the senior leader of two previous churches before joining us in 2006.

Graham Clarke

Community Pastor

Graham is a member of our leadership team and our Community Pastor. Alongside his wife Lou, he also heads up Bridge The Gap - an initiative reaching out to those who live in our immediate community. Graham is passionate about church unity and serving the local community.

Mark Rogers

Central Leadership Team 'CLT' and Finance Vision Leader

Mark is responsible for providing spiritual oversight to the finances of the church. Mark works full-time with the Met Office as an Advisor to the emergency response community. He is passionate to see people find communities where they can share life together and has a special desire to see Men Gathering in order to support each other in their Christian walk.

Matt Burridge

Central Leadership Team and Associate Youth Leader

Matt grew up in Enfield before moving to Aylesbury and joining SBC in 2016, getting involved in and helping James lead our various youth groups. Matt has a real passion for helping young people find their place and voice in Church as they start adulthood, and heads up the Open House Lifegroup for young adults. Matt’s an Arsenal fan, enjoys photography (especially while travelling), and is interested in all things Tolkien/Lord of the Rings.

James Henson

Associate Pastor

James joined the staff team in September 2013 and in recent years has been our Youth Pastor. He is now our Associate Pastor with overall responsibility for Generation Next (amongst other things!). James is passionate about seeing young people come to see how God loves them for who they are, and how they can live a life in all the fullness God has planned for them.

Lou Clarke

Central Leadership Team and Bridge the Gap Leader

Lou heads up our Bridge the Gap work which works to support and signpost those struggling in our local community. Her main role is overseeing the food bank which operates twice a week. Lou's passion is to see people's lives transformed as our church community grows and develops.

Sam Nursey

Bridge the Gap Assistant

Sam works in the office and helps run Bridge the Gap foodbank along with Graham and Lou. She absolutely loves what she does here serving the community and organising the day to day running of the food bank. Sam also heads up the Community Fair project each year in which the local community come to enjoy themselves all for free.

Liz Zealey

Central Leadership Team & Operations Manager

Liz has been our Church Operations Manager since January 2010. Her passion is to see people develop and be released for service in line with their gifts and calling. She has been a member of the Central Leadership Team since December 2018.

Julie Marshall

Assistant Operations Manager

Julie works in the office to help with all the things that happen throughout the week. Her passion is serving the community and she loves, travelling, coffee and chocolate.

Josh Lane

Youth Worker

Josh has lived in Aylesbury since 2010 and joined the staff team in February 2023 as our Youth Leader where he oversees all the youth work throughout the week. He loves encountering the transformative presence and power of Holy Spirit and helping others find the same transformation!

Hannah Lowe

Fundraiser

Hannah is the fundraiser for the Church, joining the team in September 2023. Hannah has grown up in the Church and even got married here. She has a passion for serving the local community and is really enjoying her new role.

Charlotte Baldwin

Pre-School Leader

As well as being our Lead, Charlotte is also our SENDCO. She holds a level 3 in childcare and SEN. Working in childcare for over 10 years, she joined our pre-school in September 2021 with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Charlotte believes that behind every strong team there are strong and confident children!

Elisabeth Foster

Deputy Pre-School Leader

As well as being our co-deputy with Laura, Lis leads our 3-4 year olds. She has just completed her level 3 in childcare and has worked for the Treehouse Pre-School since September 2017. Prior to working in our setting Lis spent some time in China, volunteering in an orphanage. Lis is passionate about creating a fun and creative setting that enables children to be ready to start their school journey!

Laura Burns

Deputy Pre-School Leader

As well as being our co-deputy with Lis, Laura leads our 2 year olds. She holds a level 3 in childcare and has worked in childcare settings for over 6 years. Laura is passionate about extending the knowledge of her 2 year olds and creates stimulating and inviting activities to help the children flourish on their individual journeys.

Michelle Wicking

Early Years Assistant

Michelle helps the SEND children, and will ensure that any targeted interventions are met daily, to support them on their journey. Michelle's soft and caring nature, gives the children a safe space for them to interact and communicate their needs.

Warda Zeeshan

Early Years Assistant

Warda has been looking after children with special education needs for a few years. She completed her degree in Pakistan where she helped teach children from two to twelve years old. Warda loves being part of the pre-school team and will work alongside Charlotte to support the children that require some extra support in their own individual journeys.

Naomi Vickery

Early Years Assistant

Naomi started with us in September 2023 and will be starting her early years training soon. Naomi loves playing hide and seek, football and dancing with the children. Her fun and warm nature stimulates the children's minds and helps them develop their social skills.

Aiysha Begum

Early Years Assistant

Aiysha started with us in April 2024 with a level 3 in Early Years. Aiysha is working alongside Lis to support our 3-4 years olds getting ready for school. Aiysha loves getting involved in messy play, her fun and warm nature attracts the children, which helps her to support them in the best way possible.

He has come so that we may have life and have it to the full!
