Prayer at Southcourt

Before Sunday Services

Morning:

If you would like to pray for the service before it starts, please join those at the front right-hand side of the church from 10.00am. If you would like a quieter place to pray, the Church Lounge is open for you to pray between 9.55-10.15am.

Evening:

Please join the group praying at the front right-hand side of the church from 6.00pm. The Church Lounge will be open for prayer if you prefer a quieter place from 6.10pm to 6.25pm.

Prayer Meeting

Alternate Wednesdays, we get together as a church family for an informal time of prayer, praise and worship.

Friday Morning Prayer

We meet weekly from 9.00am 10.00am in the Church Lounge. All welcome.

Intercession

We aim to support, in prayer, those people who have special concerns either for themselves or for those whom they love. Their requests are brought before the Lord in faithful believing prayer. Each team member dedicates time to cover these needs for at least two weeks, but continues to uphold any ongoing requests to do so.

Praise God for faithful pray-ers. Many pray-ers have dedicated themselves over a number of years. Please pray that a new co-ordinator for the Prayer Intercessory Group will be led by the Holy Spirit to continue to head up this valuable service.

Prayer Ministry Team

The Prayer Ministry Team is available after each service and our aim is to be a channel that God can use to bless His people. We are happy to pray with anyone for any reason; please don’t think that you have to wait for the big things in life before you can receive prayer. Do come and receive the Father’s blessing on your life, whether health, work or relationships, take the opportunity to respond to something in the service, or ask for prayer for a difficulty you may be facing.

We would like to stress that we are not a counselling team but simply make ourselves available for prayer. Several people have let us know of answers to those prayers and that is a real blessing and encouragement to us all.

Prayer Triplets

We invite you to get together with two or three friends to pray regularly for each other, for your non-church friends...and also for any other issues on your hearts.

Prayer before Church Members' Meetings

The Jubilee Hall is set aside for prayer from 7.00 to 7.45pm, prior to each Church Members' Meeting. If you are a Church Member, we invite you to come along and pray.
